hello, welcome to my website! I go by mortis for the most part. I started this website in the beginning of 2023 originally to set up an art portfolio but throughout the year, it became much more personal. it now serves as a space for me to simply share whatever I want, such as my art, my favorite song of the week, or my thoughts on the last movie I watched.

I'm an artist and aspiring independent writer born in mexico but currently based in the us. I also dabble in game design and music. my number one dream is to create my own original work, to make something personal for myself, and that maybe speaks to other people too. I have a lot of interests, but I am considerably interested in horror, ero-guro, denpa, and other transgressive themes!

this website may remain inactive for periods of time due to lapses in my mental health. I am a chronic sufferer of psychosis and suicidal ideation; this is something that does permeate a lot of the content I share on this website, whether it is my blog enteries or what I want to depict in my own work.

otherwise, I may take myself too seriously sometimes, but I still love to have fun with my interests and hobbies. hopefully, this website makes that clear. thanks for reading!
